Re: Letter to Congresswoman Maize Hirono <Mazie.Hirono@mail.house.gov> in response to her 11/11/09 email newsletter (posted below response)

Aloha Congresswoman Hirono.

It's wonderful to see how much you support the men and women in uniform who have demonstrated such courage and commitment in serving our country. They are AMERICANS. I am reminded of their unwavering dedication to serve and the sacrifice that they and their families have made during their deployments each time one of our dedicated public servants like yourself recognizes their dedication and sacrifice. It truly warms the cockles of my heart to see that you care about America and it's families. At least that is the party line you present.

So what gives?

I have approached you, spoken to you personally regarding the corruption and criminal behaviors of the family court and its plethora of professionals that harm families and children daily. I specifically referenced to you Judge Keith E. Tanaka, Barbara Sauer GAL and child services here on Maui in the second circuit of Hawaii as parties openly violating the laws of this State. Openly being corrupt and negligent in their public positions. I provided you my case number and asked assistance in saving my child whose name is (Child). I signed your forms and accepted your promises that you would look into the matter. My case number again is FC-D No. (07-xxxxxx). Again my son’s name is (Child)!

What you did didn't warm the cockles of my heart. I was reminded how little (0 %) you support the families and children in Hawaii who have demonstrated such courage and commitment in surviving domestic, physical, emotional and sexual abuse HERE!. I was reminded how YOU didn't look into the matter and now (Child) is living very unhappily abused and neglected with his abuser (Defendant) here in YOUR state where you have professed your commitment to serve. I'm guessing the answer is that you only like veterans and not children or families. I am not a veteran of a war on foreign soil. (Child) is not a veteran of a war on foreign soil. Maybe if we were our cries of terror and pain would be interesting to you. Maybe if (Child) were sexually fondled and terrified on the fields of battle you would care. Maybe if I told you we were not Americans that instead we were Filipino you would care! But you don't care because you don't consider the lost families and children in Hawaii who fight the battle to stay sane and alive everyday here on Maui and in Hawaii to be worthy of your public or private attention. You don't care that we are veterans of a war on domestic AMERICAN soil and that we are out-matched and victims. YOU don't find the family unit worth preserving because it isn't pretty or news worthy in your eyes to remove corrupt Judges and Para-Professionals and you gain no public fanfare for stopping the pain of your constituents, all of which are AMERICAN PEOPLE, CHILDREN and FAMILIES!. And we are constituents. We pay taxes, city, county, state and federal. Your very healthy paycheck comes from these taxes. So does our welfare, medical care and patriotism.

I am asking once again that you assist me in working through the public corruption and criminal activities of the Hawaii Family court and the State Attorney Generals office. The good taxpayers of Hawaii paid a special team of investigators for 5 months to research, substantiate and compile a 10,000 page report on criminal behaviors by (Child)'s abuser (Defendant) for a variety of criminal behaviors and his attorney father (Defendant’s father) who openly practiced law without a license in Hawaii. The head of this investigative team was Attorney Allen Napolean. Attorney Napolean forwarded this 10,000 page, fully substantiated report to Deputy Attorney General Debbie Tanakaya for prosecution stating it was a "Slam Dunk" as far as he knew based on the substantiated violations. This transfer was done with supervisor approval. Then corruption interfered when it came time to hold these criminals in violation of the law. Attorney Tanakaya graduated from Denver University School of Law that is in the heart and the primary target of Attorney (Defendant’s father) who targeted all attorneys graduating from Colorado Law Universities through school and law organizations. 50 years in the Colorado law business as the primary attorney for (Defendant’s father’s law firm), (Defendant’s father) makes it his business to know everyone and to have influence. Once in the hands of Attorney Tanakaya the report was then found to be un-prosecutable
and no violations found to exist. 5 months of taxpayer expense to research and substantiate the allegations. 1 month to let the violators go free. Corrupt and Political forces are here at work in Hawaii and it is at the expense of the children; of (Child). I ask your personal assistance in obtaining for me a full and complete copy including substantiation of the report generated by Attorney Napoleon and his colleges. I ask your help in having these crimes prosecuted and (Child) returned home to me, his Mother. I have no history of abuse, (Defendant) has already lost 2 children to sexual abuse allegations in Colorado and (Child) continues to report abuse.

Please care that (Child) is being hurt. Please care that I am being hurt. Please care about Hawaii families and children. Please care about honor and integrity and Justice! Please display that you have these qualities.

Please don't limit your caring to veterans of wars on foreign soil. Care instead about AMERICANS.
Care instead about CHILDREN.

Please work closely with the Obama Administration to address the needs of our families and children in Hawaii. Please work to remove corrupt and incompetent judges from the bench and to prohibit affiliated para-professionals.

You worked closely with your colleagues to provide long-denied benefits to Filipino veterans who honorably answered the call of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and served alongside our armed forces during World War II. They fought shoulder-to-shoulder with American servicemen and sacrificed for the same just cause. My son fights for his life, his honor and to be safe in his home and sleep against a much larger and more powerful adversary as an AMERICAN not a Filipino veteran, as a CHILD!

I am humbled by the courage and dedication of the men and women who have put themselves in harm’s way in service of our country. (Child) is one of these veterans. HE fights to be an AMERICAN free of abuse, fear and frailty. We must never forget all that we owe to them. When will YOU support strengthening benefits for our wounded AMERICAN CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN HAWAII! AND for the families of those who have lost their CHILDREN to abuse and family court corruption.

I look forward to the time when you care. I am still waiting!

Mother of (Child) abused, neglected and terrified in Hawaii.

Day Aloha,
This Veterans’ Day gives us another opportunity to honor the men and women in uniform who have demonstrated such courage and commitment in serving our country. Whenever I meet former and current members of our Armed Forces, National Guard, and Reserve, I am reminded of their unwavering dedication to serve and the sacrifice that they and their families have made during their deployments.
Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of meeting with one of Hawaii’s own, Department of Veterans’ Affairs (VA) Secretary Eric Shinseki, at a House Military Veterans Caucus event. Secretary Shinseki emphasized the importance of the VA working closely with the Defense Department to ensure that our service members benefit from a seamless transition as they move from active duty to veteran status. He also expressed appreciation for Congress in passing legislation that allows the VA to increase the number of claims processors so that veterans can receive more timely payments of their disability claims.
In addition to listening to the concerns of veterans and military family organizations, Congress has been working closely with the Obama Administration to address the needs of our veterans and troops. We worked to enact legislation authorizing VA funding a year in advance so that the VA has adequate time to plan how to deliver the best medical care to our veterans. We provided stop loss payments to soldiers who have had their enlistments involuntarily extended, and we successfully passed a new and comprehensive GI bill that expands educational benefits for our troops.
I also worked closely with my colleagues to provide long-denied benefits to Filipino veterans who honorably answered the call of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and served alongside our armed forces during World War II. They fought shoulder to shoulder with American servicemen and sacrificed for the same just cause.
I am humbled by the courage and dedication of the men and women who have put themselves in harm’s way in service of our country. We must never forget all that we owe to them. I will continue to support strengthening benefits for our wounded warriors and for the families of those who have lost their lives.
I would like to take a moment to pay tribute to the soldiers and civilians who were wounded or lost their lives as a result of the senseless act of violence that took place at Fort Hood on November 5th. I hope that the wounded make a full and speedy recovery, and my thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those who lost their loved ones. Our thanks to all those who sprung into action to assist those in need on that tragic day.
Warmest aloha to all of our men and women in uniform who have served and continue to serve our country so nobly.

Mahalo,
