HALT (Help Abolish Legal Tyranny) is requesting you sign a petition for your state regarding Lawyer Discipline Best Practices.  If any of you have attempted to report violation of ethics (Hawaii Rules of Professional Conduct) to Hawaii's Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC), you are well aware that ODC covers up the violations rather than protecting the Court Clients.

Please take a moment and Sign HALT's Petition.

This will be calling on the officials of your state's attorney discipline system to institute 10 reasonable reforms - including disclosing a lawyer's complete disciplinary history, opening lawyer discipline hearings to everyone and issuing strong sanctions, such as permanent disbarment, when lawyers behave unethically.

Even If you only care about Transparency and Sunshine in government, this is a good measure to improve accountability in our court system.

Did you know that your courts are corporations?

What this means is that these organizations (and many others) have stockholders that want to see what?  A PROFIT!
Still wondering why they want to make your Court appearances cost you every last dime?

The largest amount of over two million ($2,243,354.00) was given to the Hawaii Office of the Attorney General for "Office for Victims of Crime".
