LAWMAKERS TO HOLD BRIEFING ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND HEAR CONCERNS FROM DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS AND DISCUSS THE NEED FOR POLICY CHANGE

Several domestic violence survivors will share their story of how they lost custody of their child(ren) to the abuser, even after a finding of domestic violence by the abuser.

RecordOnAppeal.com received the following email regarding on-line evaluations of 8 per diem judges:

Dear Attorney:

This is a joint email from Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald and HSBA President Louise K.Y. Ing. The Judiciary is conducting an online evaluation of eight Per Diem judges. The Judiciary and the HSBA encourage all members to participate in the evaluation process. This evaluation differs from HSBA's judicial evaluation survey, but both programs are designed to give you the opportunity to provide valuable feedback concerning individual judges. Judges are receptive to receiving comments and suggestions, which often help them to improve their judicial skills and techniques.

Angels, print this release and get it to your local newspaper and/or tv station. Ask them to give this issue some attention this week.  If you can, write a very short, 1/2 page note to the court,  showing your support.

Linda Marie’s daughter in April 2007, said “Mommy fight for us, and do something every day to get us back, and don’t ever stop”. This Florida Mother has kept her promise to her daughter’s and now is speaking on behalf of America’s children and their “protective parents”.

DV Advocate/Survivor Dara Carlin, and Survivor Mom Tiffinie Walters, join Maui's Representative George Fontaine on Fontaine Factor to discuss Domestic and Family violence, the 'hidden' factors and Hawaii's family court response (giving custody to abusers).

The Fontaine Factor airs on Olelo Community television and Akakū: Maui Community Television.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for covering this important topic.

rally_maui_2To bring attention to the fact that fit mother's are having ALL contact with their children removed, Hawaii supporters got together on Mother's Day on Maui to get the message out.

What did these mother's do wrong?  They fled relationships of Domestic and Family Violence.

Maui's Family Court Judge Keith E. Tanaka is a notorious renegade judge who disregards statutory law in favor of abusers, placing children in harm's way.
